Which lebron shoes are the best

LeBron James was getting unprecedented endorsement deals as a rookie. It still holds the record for the biggest signed rookie endorsement contract in the history of sports. This proved to be worth it for the brand and they saw it fit to extend his contract in LeBron James is one of the most unique players ever. His sneakers reflect that by consistently giving consumers the most cushioned shoes in the market over the years.

Zoom Air, simply Air, and Air Max have been the weapons of choice for the line and it is usually through this that Nike outdoes itself with putting the most cushion in a sneaker. This gave people maximum impact protection for strong impacts and long games, but not as much court feel. The King has always been a fan of higher collared shoes. All of his releases have been of the type and this offers a bit more containment than low tops.

Materials, however, have changed throughout the years. The first six versions all featured a mainly leather build with most of them having straps. The next four then featured a lot of fuse with overlays here and there. The LeBron 15 saw the debut of Battleknit and has since been the staple for the line.

Unlike other athletes with take down models, LeBron James actually wears his on court. He has three, in order of popularity: Soldier, Witness, and Ambassador. He donned the 10th version of the first one in the NBA Finals. The second is more for the average consumer with much less cushion than the main line.

The third was made for outdoor play and is most popular in Asia, since it usually only releases there. Close Menu. He's won four regular season MVP awards. He's been named an All-Star 16 times.

He's won four championships. And along the way, Nike has released plenty of great looking sneaker for him too inspired by everything from champagne bottle corks to cult-classic television series. It's hard to narrow it down to the very best, but with LeBron celebrating his 36th birthday today and his quest for his fifth ring underway, we tried our best.

Because LeBron is a big guy, we expected it to be really cushy, and it was but never at the expense of response or court feel. Nike was so clever in coming up with a midsole tech such as the one we see on this. Traction was also wild. The squeak was there. The bite was definitely there, and it was in all directions. Cutting, sudden turns, destructive sprints: we were able to do all with confidence.

The outsole rubber is also very hard and thick, so outdoor use will never be a problem with this one. Sure, the LeBron 16 can be expensive for many, but it sure comes with high quality. The Battleknit 2. Continuous improvement is what Nike believes in. Everything about the Soldier 13 is out of this world. The traction is a beast both indoors and outdoors. Of course, this goes without saying that dust will not be a problem.

There was absolutely no need to wipe even on the most unkempt courts. This is what we call hassle-free. Support and lockdown is not to be questioned either. These aspects, after all, are what the Soldier line excels at. It was just securely strapped to the footbed. Unlike many of the releases from the main Nike LeBron line, this one delivers a lot of both cushioning and court feel.

We can go on and on about how great this Soldier is. The Nike LeBron 16 Low, by far, is the king among all the low-tops in his line. We are not exaggerating; the cushioning on this was so good it felt like we were walking on clouds! The material is quite bouncy, too! So taking off is as easy as landing. If you are looking for a sneaker with top-of-the-line cushioning, then this is your best bet. It will be a mortal sin to overlook the LeBron 16 Low. Besides its crazy cushioning, we were also so impressed with the traction.

Quite frankly, it was the best definition of grip. It must have come with its own dust-repelling mechanism! Being a LeBron, it came as no surprise that the materials would feel soft, supportive, and just premium on foot. They were quite durable, too! The Nike LeBron 16 Low is just amazing.

Each time we use it, we notice something nice and new about it. A present that keeps on giving, indeed! Besides having a lower collar, LeBron low-tops also come with a considerable price cut.

The Nike LeBron 18 Low is proof of this. This shoe was a super reliable partner when it comes to traction. We dare say that because of its really stable grip, landings were made far safer. Speaking of landings, we were thankful that we had these on our feet during the most intense ones. The LeBron 18 Low was simply one of the most comfortable shoes we have ever played in. The impact protection that it gave was just out of this world! Nike added a few support features such as an outrigger and fuse overlays.

These add-ons worked. There were no support issues to speak of here. Performance-wise, the LeBron 18 Low is already a steal. Well, they are LeBrons after all: relevant on and off the court. We are going to be very honest here; the Nike LeBron 18 is perhaps the most LeBron-specific shoes in his line. Of course, this does not mean that this shoe is not good. However, we could never deny that the LeBron 18 offered the most amazing impact protection among all LeBron shoes, or all Nike shoes, or even all basketball shoes!

It was just on another level. We were pretty confident that we would never know pain no matter how hard our landings and strikes were. The traction was pretty reliable too. Then we have the materials. We mean; come on! We expected a premium feel and overall experience; and boy, we were not disappointed. The materials were just soft, decently breathable, and just flexed well with our feet.
